Habilitation Inpatient Service
This inpatient service provides assessment, treatment and long term management of adults with learning disabilities and complex behavioural problems for duration of 6 months to 5 years, depending on the progress shown by the individual.

This inpatient service provides specialist assessment and treatment for adults with learning disabilities presenting with acute behavioural and mental health needs. This is undertaken utilising a full multi-disciplinary approach which is specialised in the care of people with learning disabilities who require healthcare.

Assessment & Treatment for Vulnerable People Inpatient Service
This inpatient service provides specialist assessment and treatment for vulnerable older people and adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities. This is undertaken utilising a full multi-disciplinary approach which is specialised in the care of people with learning disabilities who require healthcare. The provision and function of this service is currently under review.

Community Learning Disability Service (CLDT)
This service provides specialist secondary health care to people with learning disabilities whose need can not be met within the generic services offered. Support and training to carry out recommendations may be provided to the service user, family and/or their carer, through multi-disciplinary and professional teams working in the community. The service is throughout lifespan for nursing and psychology, from 14 years in Occupational therapy and transition age for Speech and Language therapy and Physiotherapy. Referral to one of the six locality based teams should be made by the GP.
