Local Mental Health Trust Celebrates Staff Achievement in First Ever Staff Award Ceremony

Gloucestershire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is hosting its first ever staff awards ceremony - the ROSCAs (Recognising Outstanding Service and Contribution Awards) - on Wednesday 28 November.

The ceremony will recognise and celebrate the hard work of staff and is also an opportunity to showcase areas of good practice and also presents awards to staff for long service.

The Trust invited nominations for members of staff who go that extra mile to make a difference, teams that have committed to improving the experience of service users and carers, and volunteers who have made an exceptional contribution to the Trust.

The event will be held at Cheltenham Racecourse.

There will be awards for the winners in nine categories, including the Unsung Hero Award which goes to a volunteer and the Carer/Service User Choice award. The carers and services users were invited to nominate staff or teams who they believed had made an outstanding contribution and has made a real difference to their care or the care of a relative or friend.

All shortlisted nominees and teams have been invited to the event, the winners will receive a trophy and all shortlisted and non-shortlisted nominees will receive a certificate.

The event will also celebrate long service for the NHS for those who have completed 20 and 30 years service with the NHS.
