Local Mental Health Trust launches staff award scheme – this is your chance to nominate a member of staff for a ROSCA!
Gloucestershire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is holding its first ever staff award scheme this year called the ROSCAs – Recognising Outstanding Service and Contribution Awards.
The Trust wants to hear about members of staff who go that extra mile to make a difference, a team that is committed to improving the experience of service users and carers, and volunteers who have made an exceptional contribution to the Trust.
The scheme is open to individuals or teams from any part of the Trust, working directly in the front line of patient care or working behind the scenes to support the delivery of care. It is an opportunity for colleagues, service users and carers to show how they value an individual or team who has made an impact on them.
One of the categories is The Service User and Carer Choice Award which will be given to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution. This can be in any area, e.g. clinical care, service user involvement, administrative or support services. People who use our services, or who care for somebody who uses our services can nominate an individual who has made a real difference to their care, or the care of their relative or friend. Service users and carers are also able to nominate for the team of the year categories.
Shaun Clee, Chief Executive said: “We are launching the staff awards in recognition of the excellent care and support that staff from across the Trust provide to service users, carers and colleagues. It is important that we visibly recognise staff for what they have achieved and contributed to the organisation, and an annual award ceremony is an excellent way of doing this and of promoting good practice, innovation and the sharing of ideas.”
